This app is based upon the 1979 Book of Common Prayer (Episcopal Church).
This app uses 44MB of SD Memory space due to the scriptures being stored in a database. This enables you to have the readings available when you are not connected to the internet.
The purpose of this App is to provide the complete Daily Office Lectionary scriptures that are normally only listed by their passages. This enables the reader from having to look these scriptures up. I hope you and your family enjoy this App as much as I have enjoyed creating it for use with my own family.
This app was redesigned to work with Android 4.4 (API level 19). Previous reviews of app crashing are no longer valid.

In general this is a useful app and I use it mostly every day. However, it occasionally gets confused and doesn't display any verses. This happened last week, leading up to Christmas. It wouldn't display the readings for Dec 23. It would also be nice if it offered the ESV translation. But NKJV will suffice. Bottom line, thank you for putting this together.

I have not been able to see the scripture references or the actual readings. I closed the app and re-opened it; I turned off my phone and restarted it; I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. My daughter tells me that every app does not work on every phone.

I am a retired priest in the Episcopal Church. The norm is for clergy to follow a course of Bible readings during the year. This app provides those readings. It's great
