This app and the customer service both need some improvement. The app locks up routinely, requiring a "force stop." I deleted the app and reinstalled it but then couldn't sign in again because of some stupid verification process that is a recurring loop. It says I have too many devices and I am the only one who uses it. No way to resolve it online and customer service doesn't seem to know what I am talking about. Very frustrated. I print out some puzzles, Jumble always has right margin missing

Disregarding the journalistic abyss the Star has fallen into over the past couple of decades, the app by itself is terrible. I literally have to force quit the app every time I close it and try to return to it, or it just hangs on the "The Kansas City Star" screen. It's always a mystery whether a tap or swipe is going to take me to another issue, or another page, or maybe just open an article. I guess it adds some adventure to my life, but that's not worth what I pay for my subscription.

Delete and reinstall the app. If the issue continues, we will have our development team look into this, please take screen shots or video recording and email them to mobile-team@mcclatchyinteractive.com for assistance.

If I try to open any articles, I get a blank screen. The home page loads. Customer service page is a blank screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Did nothing. Oh, and it is still pretty much impossible to share stories using the app- do you not want people to be able to see your product on social media?? GIANT FAIL AGAIN, KC STAR.

To record the issue, go to Quick Settings, open "Available buttons," "Screen recorder," touch and hold the screen recorder button to move. Drag and drop the button to the Quick Settings panel, then "Done." Touch "Screen recorder" to launch it. Select "No sound" and tap "Start recording." Email the recording mobile-team@mcclatchyinteractive.com

What's new

• eEdition page browser navigation: Fixes a bug some users encountered where if you tapped a thumbnail in the eEdition page browser, the app would load a blank screen.
• Minor stability improvements.
