The new app is terrible. We have gone from the ease of scanning the app to use rewards to multiple screens to click through before you can show the clerk the code they have to enter. Instead of scanning to get credits, we now have to upload each reciept (unless you link a payment to the app, which I will NOT do). I am evaluating whether this new app is even worth the bother to use. If not, the lack of an easy app will likely curtail how often I eat at La Madeleine.

Thank you for your feedback. Your card information is safe with us. We don't store it in our system. It is directly sent to the card providers for enrollment and transaction detection for loyalty credit.

This would be negative five stars if I could. Every single thing about the customer experience is worse, and it's harder for employees to deal with too. You can't pay with the app, but you have to "link" a card to get any points unless you upload pictures of the receipt. And not Discover even though it's accepted there. You can only use one reward at a time when before it used to count all you marked active. Instead of a scanner to read the info, an employee has to type in a code manually. 🤬

This app won't even open anymore. I click it, and it starts to open, then closes immediately. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Still won't open. It used to work, but somewhere after their "improvement" updates, it is now junk. Even my operating system recognizes it keeps crashing and suggested putting the app in deep sleep status.
