About this game

The long-awaited sequel to the also-long-awaited sequel to the beloved 8-bit RPG has finally arrived! The third installment in the series is a bigger adventure than ever before, with loads of new monsters and items, many with unique effects and abilities. Character classes are better-differentiated and combat tactics are more subtle and interesting without sacrificing the hack'n'slash ethos that Gurk fans adore. The dedication to 8-bit culture remains fervent, with the complete 20-song soundtrack rendered with analog synth emulators that will evoke the classic sounds of the game systems of the 1980s. It's all enough to justify the outrageously steep $2 price tag, so pay up and get Gurkin'!

Excellent game! Wish there was a lot more games like this out there. Completely free, playable offline, no ads, no bullsh*t. Game is easy to pick up, play for a bit, set it down, come back to later, resume exactly where you were. It's a simple old school style tile-based turn-based crpg, with a big map and lots to explore. And noticeable improvements from Gurk II. If you like old school Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy games, come give this a try.

Love the game played through it once and was maxing out my characters then bam it will not load anymore...S8+ It's only a gray screen with no buttons. I'm so disappointed I just want it to work :( I tried multiple uninstalls/ clear data/ restarts and nothing fixes it it issuch an odd problem. Still loved the game 5 stars but one playthrough is just not enough!

This is an incredible game. I have played many old school RPG's on the NES, SNES, and PS1 growing up, and this game captures the essence of what those games were for me as a young boy. It isn't as tactically heavy as FFT, but it isn't simply a just chose your actions as the Might and Magic combat system worked either. If you cherished playing RPG's from that bygone era, I highly recommend giving this a shot.
