After multiple follow ups with customer care and negative review on Play store, finally managed to get a technician to come over for service, albeit without the filters! Apparently it is the job of the customer to inform them that filters need to be changed as this was the reason provided by the technician for not bringing any filters along. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that details of when filters are changed are updated in their records also.

App works as expected. Few glitches I've noticed though: 1. If your email address starts with a number, it'll not recognise it as a valid email address (Really?) 2. There's no way to update your address, I changed my location and to raise a service request, had to call customer care anyway - what's the point of the app then? 3. There's no iOS version of this app.

Worst app and the worst customer service. I have registered a complaint, the service man came the next day and said compressor needs to be changed. I haven't heard from LG after that, it's been more than 10 days now. The compressor is on warranty, if you cannot provide service on time then do not promise such warranties. None of your customer care number works, your app doesn't work even your WhatsApp doesn't work properly. SEND A SERVICE MAN TO GET THE COMPRESSOR CHANGED.
