app works on my phone but constantly sends notifications to open app while driving for updates. I would think an app for trucking would know that it is not legal for a driver to touch the phone while driving. I can see this leading to alot of accidents and when one of those involves fatalities I can see the lawyers using that in court. 30 min after arriving and manually updating the arrive on tracking the broker called to ask why I was late. so the tracking must not be working correctly.

I have used this app many times before and never had any issues, however. after the load is delivered I don't leave MacroPoint installed on my phone. There has been an update for the app since the last time I used it. I have an Android phone and this time it won't even begin to download. I also have an Android tablet and MacroPoint installed on it in record time. I noticed that I'm being tracked through it successfully whereas before MacroPoint had to be on the phone only to be trackable.

Hi Bryan, sorry for this inconvenience. 1- Launch Settings in your Android phone and head over to the Apps section and then switch to “All” tab. Scroll down to Google Play Store app and then tap on Clear Data and Clear Cache. Clearing cache will help you fix the download pending problem in Play Store. This is not really an issue with our app....

the app is intrusive and requires permissions even when not open, and on top of that it doesn't even update when you go into trips and select arrival and departure from whatever locations you've visited en route... instead, there are constant notifications asking you to tap a link to update your location..... WHILE DRIVING... and if you don't, you just get bombarded with texts and eventually calls asking about your location.
