Introducing the Drug Interactions Checker tool

The Mediately app has evolved! Now you can check drug interactions directly in the app and have a big impact on the safety and effectiveness of patient treatment. You get a reliable and effective tool to help you identify potential drug interactions, show you the severity of interactions & how to deal with them. The Mediately app provides you with support and enables you to make informed decisions about your treatment.

Mediately Drug Database — Mobile assistant for faster diagnosis and treatment, now including a tool to check drug interactions. Also available on Android phone or tablet.

With the app, you can easily search the offline drug registry of more than 10,000 drugs and have immediate access to interactive clinical tools and dosage calculators.

1. Get information on more than 10,000 medicines.

For each drug, you can view the following detailed information:

• Basic information about the drug (active substance, composition, dosage form, class, information on reimbursement of the drug from the public health insurance system);
• Important information from the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) (indications, dosage, contraindications, interactions, side effects, overdose, etc.);
• ATC classification and similar drugs;
• Packaging and pricing;
• Access to the full version of the SPC in PDF format (internet connection required).

2. Search a wide range of interactive diagnostic tools.

Along with a complete drug database, the application contains a number of interactive clinical tools and dosage calculators that you can use in your daily practice:

• GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale, a scale assessing quantitative impairment of consciousness in adults);
• GFR (estimation of glomerular filtration according to the MDRD equation);
• HAS-BLED (a scoring system for determining the risk of major bleeding in patients with atrial fibrillation);
• MELD (Model for End-Stage Liver Disease, a scoring system used to assess the severity of chronic liver diseases);
• PERC score (Pulmonary Embolism Rule-out Criteria, scoring system of criteria for the exclusion of pulmonary embolism);
• Wells criteria for pulmonary embolism.
