Kuna smart home security is designed to help you prevent break-ins and protect what matters to you most, from anywhere in the world.

Have a Kuna Powered security device or smart light? You’ll need the Kuna mobile app to set up and control your Kuna, Maximus, and Toucan smart security devices.

 After you’ve created a free Kuna account and connected your Kuna Powered device(s) to your Wi-Fi network, you’ll have access to all of Kuna’s powerful preventative security features:

Security:
- As soon as activity is detected, Kuna starts recording and sends actionable alerts, so you can see what’s happening and decide how to respond.

- With Kuna’s instant two-way intercom and pre-recorded messages, it’s easy to see and communicate with whoever’s outside, anytime.

- In the event of an emergency, you can quickly call the police and/or sound a piercing 100dBA siren right from the Kuna mobile app.


Monitoring:
- Stream live HD video anytime, day or night - so there’s no need to wonder what’s going on outside your home.

- “Smart detection” captures activity 10 seconds before and after an event is triggered, providing recordings that are actually useful.

Worked good for the past couple of years. Past month it continuously goes offline. Try to change wifi password and it never cycles thru to connect. Tried to factory reset by deleting then reinstalling, now that I have deleted, I cannot add the camera's back. I have strong wifi, but the cameras just cannot connect. I gave it a 2 because when it does work the cameras are great. I hope they get it fixed as I have 4 cameras that remain offline.

After 6 mos. everything goes down hill. The camera worked great in the beginning. Now it works pretty much when it wants to "literally." You could be standing right in front of the camera, and this has in fact happened with someone at my door, and the camera NEVER picked up. Most times the video lags really bad then freezes and stops. The video screen goes black. I tried EVERYTHING rebooting, reinstalling, replacement. I even invested in a signal booster and same problem. Please update your app

Purchased three units from Kuna Nov 2018. One lantern with a camera, one companion lantern and one flood lamp. With in 2 weeks the lantern camera had an issue with the speaker, the chime would almost have a rippling sound effect to it. Two weeks of phone calls and emails including a video I up loaded for the tech support they agreed to replace the 2 week old lantern. Took 6 months for the replacement to arrive being they were back ordered. For the last year I have had some issues with the cameras going off line. Got used to it. I also had up graded to the AI premium version of the app. Don't waist your money. The AI settings never seem to set the motion detectors off no matter how they were set up. I just left it turned off. Only benefit was the amount of down loads allowed. One week after the warranty had expired the flood lamp has now crapped out. The WiFi part of the flood lamp is shot. A closer look there was moisture in the sensor so I'm sure that's what did it in. Great idea but the software and lamps need tweaking!
