Works great for me, it looks like some people may have phones that are too old. Yes, it's only designed to tell you about parks and trails, and not designed for the things people are giving one star for (that's like giving a star-dinner app a bad review because it doesn't have traffic info). It doesn't give news or up-to-the-second info, it's just designed to tell about parks and trails, which it does admirably.

This app is improving. I like that it's free, has updated maps, shows places to go as other apps which cost $. Very easy to find trails!! Good photos too showing what the trail looks like.

It's helping me find trails in the area. I was only familiar with a handful before the app so I'm grateful for that. It does not have current conditions, but it was not intended to do that anyway. Grateful for an easy and app with simple info on hiking locations.
