About this app

ViaOpta Sim allows patients with visual impairments to better explain their eye conditions to friends, family, caregivers and colleagues. The app will also help patients themselves to gain a greater understanding of their condition and how it can develop.
Doctors will be able to use this app to educate patients about their condition.
The app provides:
- Live simulations of 12 visual impairments which can be seen at different levels of severity: initial, intermediate, advanced (where applicable)
 Central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO)
 Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO)
 Myopic choroidal neovascularization (CNV)
 Diabetic retinopathy
 Vitreomacular traction (VMT)
 Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)
 Glaucoma
 Cataracts
 Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) - Wet and Dry AMD have been combined into a single filter
 Retinitis Pigmentosa
 Dry Eye
 Presbyopia

- A personalized view of ‘My condition’ allowing users to save a specific condition setting
- The ability for users to share the filters with family and friends

I was looking for an app that shows Retinitis Pigmentosa with a slide bar that shows restriction by degrees. Showing beginning, intermediate, and end stage is too vague. But showing end stage is too extreme for me to show people who know me. (They will freak out.)

Great, but please add more conditions like optical nerve atrophy. And the possibility to add different layers of symptoms

Love this app for educating staff. Would be better if could overlap conditions to show real life situations. Only 4 stars as stopped working today. Please fix asap there is no other app like this
