Legacy Tablo

This app is worthless if your Tablo is set up to record surround sound. On tablets and phones you will not be able to hear any audio, and there is no fix other than disabling surround recording in the Tablo device. Once it's recorded with surround, you cannot convert it. So, if you intend to use the Tablo with a tablet or phone, your only option is to disable surround recording. If you intend to use it with a PC, Roku, etc, then you can play back I surround recordings. Forget it if doing both.

Great app for people who like troubleshooting! It may be unfair to blame the app, but the setup of the Tablo DVR, which is done via the app, is anything but smooth. In order to set the system up for the first time, it took research on the web, removing the DVR's hard drive, plus uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All I can suggest is have patience; it ultimately did work.

Terrible app. Slow to load and the live guide takes 10 plus minutes to load. When scrolling the shows in the time line scroll but the channel numbers dont. So the guide is useless. The android tv app is fine as is my apple tvs and rokus. No issues there. Just the android app for smartphones. Some people are stating they cant connect. Logout and back in again. The newer app requires a new verification with you tablo. So logout and back in again.
