They recently overhauled the app experience and eliminated the loyalty rewards programs (spend $99 get $9 off + free birthday roll). They also eliminated the feature of loading rewards directly in your account for seasonal promotions. Emailing coupon codes appears to be the new, "preferred" method established by Fusian. It's impossible for us now to justify spending $14+ on sushi bowls when our money goes much farther at other restaurants (e.g. Chipotle).

I used to love this app because of the rewards and spontaneous deals. But without that, what is the point? As a gold-tier, I was looking forward to my birthday roll. But when I went to order it, the "rewards are experiencing some technical issues". I reinstalled the app, which included an update that completely removed any mention of rewards. Now, the "Contact us" button is just advice on how to solve other problems. Bait-and-switching free sushi on my birthday gives you 1 star.

I like being able to pay with the app. I was having issues after the recent rework but reinstalling seems to have fixed it. The custom ordering isn't great. One line to type any add-ons or removals isn't great. I'm sure it has to do with how it looks on a receipt for the person making it. Definitely itemized customizations would be best for the customer. There are sauces I'd never heard of that an employee recommended that I really enjoyed. Great way to teach your customer base what you have. 👏
