*Chime SpotMe is an optional, no fee service that requires a single deposit of $200 or more in qualifying direct deposits to the Chime Checking Account each month. All qualifying members will be allowed to overdraw their account up to $20 on debit card purchases and cash withdrawals initially, but may be later eligible for a higher limit of up to $200 or more based on member's Chime Account history, direct deposit frequency and amount, spending activity and other risk-based factors. Your limit will be displayed to you within the Chime mobile app. You will receive notice of any changes to your limit. Your limit may change at any time, at Chime's discretion. Although there are no overdraft fees, there may be out-of-network or third party fees associated with ATM transactions. SpotMe won't cover non-debit card transactions, including ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, or Chime Checkbook transactions. See Terms and Conditions.

‡Out-of-network ATM withdrawal fees may apply except at MoneyPass ATMs in a 7-Eleven, or any Allpoint or Visa Plus Alliance ATM.

^Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

Please Bring Back Custom Pin Unlock Option! I've been a loyal user of Chime for quite some time now, and I've always appreciated the security measures the app has offered. However, with the recent updates, I'm disappointed to see the removal of the ability to set a custom pin to unlock the app. As someone who values added layers of security, being able to choose my own 4-digit pin separate from my phone's unlock code was a feature I greatly appreciated.

Hi there! To reset the login pin, go to the settings, and click the Sign Out button at the bottom. -Then, log in using your account email and password. -You should receive a prompt asking if you would like to log in using your face or fingerprint next time. -Select the option to Turn on the biometric login method you'd like to use. -Tap confirm.

This overall has been my most beneficial and successful mobile banking experience. It provided opportunities to better my credit score, offers money transferring services and you can send money to anyone, even without a chime account! The application offers financial advice in emails from time to time as well as cash back and side hustle opportunities in a section of the app. My money is safe. Insured. And I wouldn't ask for a better banking experience. Thank you!

I like the ability to pay anyone. I don't like that the credit builder has drop my credit score 20+ points. Also they changed the wayy account looks and cancelled biometric unlock. I am not sure if they are having issues but since it needed an update nothing works right and I hate how it looks. I want my account in app to look like it used to.
