Review not so much for the app as it is the device itself. I'm not entirely sure but the pen was absolutely disappointing. It shows people get big clouds out of these pens but no matter what we did, there was barely anything. We tried different settings, grinding consistencies, and packing densities but nothing improved it. It was an expensive waste. I get more of an experience the normal way with less hassle. We got it for it's high rating only to receive $200+ junk. Yay 😑

I usually don't write reviews, but felt the need to this time. The app works fine, but it constantly crashes or the bluetooth will just disconnect by itself, which is incredibly annoying. I have to forget and reconnect my device literally everyday in order to get it to work properly. I've used pax and the app for over a year, and even though the app looks better, the older versions worked better tbh. Besides the crashing and connectivity issue, the app works as per usual.

Going to agree with a previous review: good device, BAD app. The Bluetooth connection is unreliable and frequently disconnects. The temp readings are innacurate. The app could easily have instructions for device functionality, haptic feedback, light indicators, the different settings for the device, maintenance, but it doesn't. No user preferences other than Farenheit or Celcius (missed opportunities there). It's so barebones it feels like a beta test.
