Right now, my first back up camera failed, so the company replaced it, the problem is that the app even after a force stop, clear cache, clear data, uninstall, power down, restart, reinstall still has the info,(wi-fi network & password) related to the one that got sent back and it can't be cleared out. Apparently, the developers didn't figure you would ever get rid of the original equipment or need to connect a second one.

Not great but there's some tricks to get it working "mostly". If you're using WiFi make sure your smartphone connects to the dongle first before launching the app because it no longer auto connects. Same with Bluetooth. I also advise to avoid upgrading to Android 10 until you've had a chance to test it on another device you don't plan on using with your backup camera. Good Luck!

Great Deal $299, amazing rearview camera! I've been using it for a couple of months now. My Note 10 was blocking a lot of features. I'm using an old Galaxy Phone permanently attached to my car and its 12V charger. I'm using an app called "trigger" that opens Pearl automatically when I start my car. I'm very happy with this device overall. Very unfortunate that the original maker is out of business. However the pearlauto dot com website still works. Don't expect warranty, setup was a bit complex
