The one feature this app needs that would make it perfect is the ability to set a recurring task reminder based on the date the task was last completed. For example, if I have a task to water my plants every week but I'm a 3 days late in completing the task, I don't want the next reminder to be in 4 days, I want it to be a full week. As far as I can tell this app doesn't support that feature so I'm continuing the search for the perfect reminder app. This one is good, just not perfect for me

I downloaded the app to see if it has the one feature that I seem to be having a hard time finding in a reminder app. I want to be able to set a reminder that will remind me on the 1st Wednesday of every month to do a certain task. Pi Reminder is half way there. It can set up this kind of reminder but only if you are setting the reminder on the day you want it done. So for instance I downloaded the app on the 3rd Thursday of December and proceeded to create a reminder for the 1st Wednesday of the Month, knowing the next occurrence would be the 6th of January. when I went to set up the reminder it would only let me set it up for the 3rd Thursday of the month. It wouldn't let me pick a day of the month that was descriptive of the day I was setting the reminder for. So basically I have set two reminders. One on the date of the month (i.e. 6th of January) to remind me to set up the other reminder that describes the day of the 1st Wednesday of every month. very convoluted and I gotta believe there is a better way to handle this. If you can do this then the UI needs to be updated to make it easier to find this functionality. Otherwise if seems like a pretty decent app.

Please try this:
1. Choose the date on which the next occurrence (i.e 6th of January)
2. Open repeat popup, you will see the option "on every first Wednesday" under monthly repeat.
Repeat option are based on the date chosen in the Add Reminder popup. We'll try to make it more user friendly. Mail us at mail@pireminder.com

Didn't remind me until 4 hours late. It failed to perform it's most basic task. Better reminder programming options than other similar apps. The alerts set to ringer settings rather than media settings. This is less than desirable if one wants to keep their phone on vibrate but receive audio alerts. Might just be an app setting change but how to correct it is not obvious.

Please try to disable battery optimization for Pi Reminder from your phone's battery settings. Let us know if this still not works for you @ mail@pireminder.com
