Tethering Shortcut

Hotspot enabled on verizon unlimited data plan, set up all a go, works fine, runs all variety of devices, but there's no toggle or shortcut in samsung s7 for some inexplicable reason. Have to go into settings, etc., which is not convenient. Installed this app but icon only appears in setting/apps and can't move it to homepage. Tried some troubleshooting, still nothing, so I uninstalled. Don't feel too bad, it's a fate shared with other toggles I've tried so far.

Also works well to teleport me to the setup option to turn on/off androids built in hot spot. Works with Android 9, 10, &11. Possible more versions. Useful additional feature would be to change the icons color (red/green perhaps)to visually id the hotspots status (on-off).

Helpful FREE, NO ADS app/widget!!! 😊 Tiny, & only 1 vital permission! Cuts out some annoying steps to pull up hot spot app on my Samsung s5mini! My old s3mimi had built-in shortcut for screen, newer doesn't & takes SEVERAL steps to get to the thing! Used awhile, no hitches. This saves much frustration! Much appreciated! 12/31/'20
