About this app

We invented mixer control via iPad®. Since then, millions of events, concerts, and studio sessions have been mixed remotely thanks to our boundary-pushing engineers. We put all our expertise and experience into designing the most intuitive and powerful remote-mixing software in the industry, and UC Surface is the result. Designed to provide immediate access to everything you need when controlling your mix, while being instantly familiar, UC Surface will revolutionize the way you mix—from the audience perspective, where it matters most.
More than mixer control, UC Surface is also integrated with Universal Control for select PreSonus Audio Interfaces, allowing you to access key controls wirelessly from your tablet when you’re away from your computer.
Compatible hardware includes:
StudioLive Series III console and rack mixers
Revelator-series microphones and interfaces
Studio 1810, 1810c, 1824, and 1824c audio interfaces
Quantum-series interfaces
Studio 192-series interfaces
Note: StudioLive AI and RM mixers should still continue to work as usual in this app, but are no longer officially supported. No further work is planned for the AI mixer series in this app.
Read on to discover what UC Surface can do for your PreSonus hardware!
StudioLive Series III mixers
UC Surface grants you touch-control of your complete mix, plus: dynamics, EQ control, effects, monitor mixes, DCA groups, and even AVB networking and routing. You also get control of deeper features like Scenes, Projects, and granular permission control—including max output level limit!
Get control of your StudioLive Series III mix from the audience perspective, where it matters most.
Studio-series audio interfaces
For owners of Studio 1810, 1810c, 1824, and 1824c audio interfaces, UC Surface offers powerful zero-latency hardware-based monitor control; everything you need to create high-quality monitor mixes and more.
Revelator-series microphones and interfaces
Get complete touch-control of your Revelator product’s gain, presets, scenes, Fat Channel processing settings, and loopback mixer. Great for when you need to make adjustments during a podcast or livestream and can’t switch applications on your desktop workstation.

Quantum-series interfaces
For Quantum-series interface owners, UC Surface offers you remote preamp control (on supported models) and a real-time analyzer.
Studio 192-series audio interfaces
Get control of your Studio 192 interface’s Fat Channel DSP, sparing your CPU some clock cycles by offloading effects processing to the interface. You can also create high-quality monitor mixes, as well as control preamp gain, speaker switching, plus main-mix mono and dim functions.

System Requirements

Supported:
- Android tablet running Android 12.0 or later

Control of supported mixers requires that the mobile device running be connected to the same wireless network as a StudioLive Series III mixer.

Control of supported PreSonus audio interfaces and USB microphones requires that the mobile device be connected to the same wireless network as a computer running Universal Control for macOS and Windows, with the audio interface or USB microphone connected to the computer.

Totally unusable on Android LG v20 screen. I might be able to see the entire board that is compressed into one small screen if I had a microscope, but the screen is also so dark it might help if you had an option to invert the display colors. Please give an option to expand or scroll the pages, or create a version that will work for an Android smartphone (which I believe Behringer has) that we could use in emergencies. If you could please do that, then that would be Top Notch customer service!

Amazing product, bad app experience, everything is too small.. Too many knobs in one screen..barely usable with a 10" display... I'd like something like behringer app, few things on the screen, "Fine" function and suitable for any screen size, Presonus, please!!! With a good android app It will be the perfect wireless mixing console!

I had my kindle on auto update, so I got the new version. Unfortunately it is not backward compatible with my StudioLive 32 Series III (firmware 1.8.14273). I could not use my Kindle to mix. I got a screen popup that told me to upgrade the firmware on my mixer. Fortunately I had an iPad with an older version. I am sure the new version will be awesome, but having to upgrade UC Surface and the mixer firmware.at the same time is bad form.
