With the Alabama 811 Mobile App for Android excavators can quickly and easily enter new locate requests or search for and update existing locate requests.

Homeowners and professional excavators can submit locate requests directly from their Android device and search for previously submitted locate requests by ticket number or by providing a date range and basic information about the the existing request. Previously submitted tickets can also be updated from the ticket screen and the work site can be viewed on Alabama 811’s map.

The Alabama 811 Mobile App also provides links for upcoming events, news, current state law, and the AWPA uniform color code for marking underground utility lines. Existing Alabama 811 portal users can log in with their existing account. New users can create an account through the Alabama 811 Mobile App which will also allow access to the online member portal at www.al811.com.
