* See any beacon, even if you don't know its identifiers
* Now detects and decodes Eddystone beacons

This app requires a device with Bluetooth Low Energy (aka Bluetooth 4.0). For beacon transmission, it requires Android 5.0 and a device with Bluetooth 4.1 (E.g. a Nexus 6 or a Nexus 9)

I went to AWS re:Invent in 2019 and a TurnoutNow beacon was on each badge lanyard. After reading an article about this, I popped off the cover, replaced the battery, and downloaded this app. It found the beacon immediately. The distance measurement is a bit wonky, but at the very least this should tell me which room my keys are in :-D Thanks, Locate Beacon! And thanks to Amazon for the new gadget (even if its "off-label" functionality was unintentional). LOL!

No information found for beacons... Bad app. Get something else!!! Get one that works!!!!

Hello, Thank you for this amazing app. Is this project open source? I am developing same kind of application but not getting the distance. Please provide github repo so i can see the calculation.
