I pretty much only use this to watch baseball on my phone (Galaxy A8). Last year, the app was such a battery hog it drained the battery even with the phone plugged in, and the phone got extremely hot. Updated today to watch some spring training, and it seems they fixed the battery issue...by not preventing the phone from sleeping. I suppose the battery won't run out as fast with the phone asleep!

Without fail, I need to sign in every time I use the app. Banking apps are easier to sign into than this up. The live feed is atrocious. You get 10 seconds of smooth streaming paired with 3 seconds of paused buffering, then the cycle continues. This is with my PS4, my smartphone, and the Sportsnet Now Website. It's rare to stream HD picture smoothly over an extended period of time. I just want to watch hockey. I have my PS4 hardwired in via Ethernet, so it's not wifi connectivity issues.

There are definitely some good things about the app. There are a lot of things, however, that need to be fixed. The MOST annoying thing about the app BY FAR is that at least 80 percent of the time when I start an NHL game from the start (but not watching it live) it will randomly but CONSISTENTLY jump me automatically to LIVE. Sometimes in the first few minutes Sometimes when i am half way through...ruining the experience for me!!! FIX THE APP!!! Also FF and rewinding through a game sucks!!!
