I have been using this app for years and it is great but because I have been using it so long, I have put a lot of time and work into defining song loops. Surprisingly there is absolutely no way to back up any of my work on ASD. The publisher is very responsive but either cannot offer a backup option or does not think it is important. At the suggestion of a harp teacher I am trying the Anytune Pro. So far it is even better than ASD and it provides regular backups. It is also only $5 not $50!

I really love this app. The Spotify linkage gives me access to all my playlists so I can slow down or transpose nearly any song I want. At first I couldn't find the saved loops but then I found out the loops are stored with each song, so you have to first load the song you want to learn, and then all the previously saved loops appear. You can rename them, delete them, etc. You can't export Spotify songs, but you can export songs from your own collection. I haven't found a fine-tuning ability to adjust the start and end points more precisely - that would be nice, so you can make loops that stay right on the beat when looped over and over.

Absolutely love this app! What an incredible tool! After getting the hang of it, it's really quite a breeze. And it just works! After a 10 year hiatus from not playing guitar, this app has been an indelible tool in helping me play catch up in learning and re-learning all the songs and guitar solos I've ever wanted to play. The slow-downer without changing the pitch, and looping is incredible. Helps to learn those those difficult sections. Also linking your Spotify playlists; sky's the limit!
