A good idea, but I think you need to pay more attention to how real wind chimes behave. To be realistic and enjoyable, the sounds need to occur more randomly and vary more in volume. And rather than using MIDI sounds of non-chime instruments, you might try recording and using your own discrete chime notes. Good luck!

Great potential. How to make a $million: 1. Collect HQ sound samples of wind chimes of various sizes and organize them by pitch. Big long pipes up to the tiny solid chimes. At least 2-3 samples per octave. Be sure to record long samples for long decay in gentle breezes. 2. Allow for customization of A. # of tones in a custom chime B. Fine-tuning of each chime to specific Hz Fq 3. Samples should ring until the pipe is struck again/layers = Massive expansion of market. $3-10/DL÷quality.

Thank you for the rating. We actually sell a Windows version of this app at our web site, that was in existence for Win98. We even had a Windows 3.1 version! (But there also was a different Windows wind chime program from another vendor.)
