The Costa Coffee BaristaBot app is for purchasing beverages at BaristaBot locations in the US only. This app does not work with other Costa locations or the Coffee Club.

The Costa Coffee story began in 1971 when Sergio and Bruno Costa arrived in London from Italy with a passion to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life. Now almost 50 years later, Costa Coffee's BaristaBot offers irresistible, customizable, gourmet coffee on the go and on demand. The BaristaBot uses freshly ground Costa Coffee, fresh dairy, and gourmet syrups to deliver quality, consistency, and convenience through a mobile app with touchless pick-up.

Order remotely from the app or at the BaristaBot and customize your drink exactly the way you want it. Get a text when your order is ready, grab your drink, and you're on your way. BaristaBot app users automatically collect loyalty points towards free drinks with each purchase or when inviting friends and family to join the experience.

The coffee is good, but the app is buggy. The scan card button does not work when you are signing up, and the app sits scanning location looking for the nearest kiosk, and you can't back out to manually select a location. Skip the app and just order straight from the kiosk display.

Never got the first cup of coffee I ordered in Austin. Second try is better, I'm drinking coffee at least. I take my coffee black,, insert Airplane quote here, I'd say try an Americano might be better flavor. In their defense the coffee is very hot, second taste.... it's pretty good. Not sold on the convenience, I waited over 9 minutes for my first order and had to walk away, I was late for a conference. Otherwise it does make coffee.

Glitchy user experience makes this more agonizing than fun. It says first order free with app, but demanded a credit card. It gave me a pickup code which disappeared before I saw the prompt on the coffee Haus' screen, so if I hadn't remembered it I would have only been able to see my coffee behind the glass. Why can't this just use NFC technology? Or Google Pay? The coffee itself was mediocre at top dollar. I'll choose Peet's next time.
