I do really like having the app at all and staying connected to local news - it's way easier to get into reading news with regularity on mobile - but it still needs a lot of work. There's no search function, and I can't save articles or share them if I access them through a push notification, and finding them again can be a pain in part because of the aforementioned missing search function. For a while I couldn't see older articles at all, and when I can it doesn't load smoothly.

WAY too much redundancy, WAY too much "rant and rave". Could not have been structured more poorly. The website used to work well, included letters to the editor (which aren't available on the app). But the website has become glitchy to the point being nonfunctional. I am considering dropping the Times entirely.

Needs much improvement: No Settings/Options. No Notifications options. No Dark mode. No Search function. No Feedback/Contact Us. Missing content, too: No comics. No puzzles. No advice columns. No charts and tables graphics. No sports league standings. And there are repetitive ads on every single page, even for paying subscribers. Articles randomly close without user interaction.
