Tommy Gun's Barbershop

I like Tommy Gun's a lot for the convenience. This abysmal app puts a very annoying kink in an otherwise nice experience. It allows you to "book" and choose your barber and location, but does not notify you when you ask for it. When you leave the booking screen your upcoming placement is lost forever into the black hole that is their database, so you better remember the approximate time estimate it initially gave you. It used to actually work. Total fail, Tommy Gun's. Get it together please!

In theory, the app allows you to save a spot in line. In reality, if you're not there when your spot becomes available (often way earlier than the app predicts), it will be given to someone else, which happens to me almost every time. Then I end up waiting there for 30-60 minutes to get in. This app is supposed to be an improvement over the traditional appointment system but it's a total failure.

Useless. Multiple times now I've booked and shown up with wait time being substantially different than what was "calculated", assuming the reservation even gets pushed to the franchise. Even now, the app shows my appointment in 3 minutes and the franchise is >30. It would be somewhat forgivable if the app updated to match - which isn't that hard - but this was the last time I'm even going to try.
