The WILL Public Media App allows you to watch and listen to all of WILL’s programs, Radio and TV!
The app provides On-Demand content of all your favorite TV and radio shows, live streaming of the radio channels, PBS Kids! content with parental controls, easy access to the live radio and Will-TV program schedule plus the ability to explore additional content!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed.
• Listen to live streams from WILL even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Listen to WILL in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access WILL past programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to or watching programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one, or listen/watch the entire program.
Additional features
• Easily share stories and programs with family and friends.
• A built in Sleep Timer and Alarm Clock allows you to go to sleep and wake up to your favorite station.

The Intergalactic Do-Gooders

I love the app and on demand access, particularly to local news and programming. One thing I've noticed though is that if I let my screen go dark the streaming tends to stop until I open the screen again. Other than that it's a good app and I highly recommend it.

I love WILL. The app works fine, but is missing some of the features that other NPR station apps have, such as the ability to pause a stream and come back to it later, and a sleep timer.

Whenever my phone goes into screen saving mode the broadcast stops. It's very annoying to have to keep touching my screen just to continue hearing the show.

Please make sure you have Background Data enabled in the app. Go to: - Settings - Apps - Select the WILL app - Select Application data usage - Enable "Allow background data usage" by sliding the switch to the right. Then go back to the WILL App Info page - Select Battery - Enable "Allow background activity" by sliding the switch to the right.
