MotionGen is an iOS and Android app for synthesizing and simulating planar four-bar linkages.
- It solves the motion generation problem for N-position problems.
- Incorporates fixed- and moving-pivot and line constraints for 3 and 4 position problems.
- Use MotionGen to design and simulate single degree of freedom linkages for your robot or machine.
This app needs Android version 5.1 or above to function properly.

a snap to coordinate grid would be nice. some options. how the poses and restraints are meant to interact. all i see is a black then green line that dont have any interaction with any dyads created. the user interface is just odd. like yay, i can make a double crank but i get a better feel for it making one with popsicle sticks...

Good start. I would like simlar tools for gears simulation. I know the task is difficult one to develop such simulators with all capabilities for free.

What will be your next move? Any update layely? It has been three years since i downloaded this game, oh sorry, app, educational app, but it doesn't update.
