After a period during which the app was not working at all (I could not login) , it is now back to normal; that is, up until today I was able to check my lecture schedule, although as of today, I can't scroll forward to next week... However, I am assuming this glitch may have something to do with the message I got about an update of the app. We'll see where it all leads...
