About this app

Fully Integrated Scanning - Scan Magic, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to instantly find prices, sell and shop on TCGplayer.com, add to your collection—even create Trade-In submissions for your Magic cards.

Fast, Accurate Pricing - Choose between Mid, Low, Direct Low and Market Price—plus Trade-In High for Magic—to see current TCGplayer price data.

Scan to Sell - Create a listing with photos from your mobile device by snapping pictures and publishing your listing through the app.

Manage Your Collection - Create new decklists or import lists you’ve saved from previous versions of the TCGplayer App. You can also rename or duplicate lists and share them with your friends via email or another app.

Accurate Image Recognition - Whether you scan cards right-side up or upside down, in sleeves or in a binder, the app will quickly and correctly identify them. Just make sure you scan at a 45° angle and use a plain background that contrasts with the card border.

Set Printing, Condition & More - Find the price for the exact version of the card you have by selecting whether or not it’s foil, what condition it’s in and what language it is.

Works with Non-English Cards - It doesn’t matter if you can’t read the text on the card. The app will tell you what it is and how much it’s worth.

Scans Several Cards at Once - The app will scan as many cards as you can fit within your camera’s field of view. Just make sure the entire card is in frame and avoid obstructions.

This app has SO many bugs. It's also not user friendly because of the way they list cards. I should be able to have the option to put EVEY copy of a card in one sort by price list regardless if it's foil, etched, full, extended, etc. The customer service is also very slow to respond & when they do often can't fix your problem. Disappointing considering they're rapidly becoming the only game in town. Even the links are broken. Used to be able to click on the store name, now does nothing.

Being able to catalog my cards into neat lists through an easy to use interface is great and becomes real handy keeping track of everything! The card scanning functionality is borderline useless, however. Regardless of how I adjust the lighting conditions or the positioning of my cards, it would not scan 90% of the time. It can recognize the shape of a card, but does nothing leaving me needing to tediously input them manually. It needs some improvement.

Fairly useful app. Making lists of cards owned with the "collections" feature is nice, especially with the card scanning feature. Card scanner is usually quite accurate, though it can get trigger happy with incorrect scans at times. The scanner adds them directly to a collection, which can make it hard to correct misscans in larger collections. I'd recommend implementing a buffer of some kind right after a scan to minimize the problem. A confirmation on what it scanned would probably be helpful.
