RTÉ Radio Player

Dia dhuit, This used to function quite well. I'm a duine dall. I'm moving to Ireland from America agus, am learning Gaeilge. I used to be able to switch stations on my Sony phone with TalkBack, Android's screen reader. Now if I tap the button which says "Change a station," it no longer works. All I see is the radio show which is currently playing on RTE Radio 1. I enjoyed listening to other stations and Gaeilge content as well. I can still listen to podcasts. Go raibh maith agat, Natalia

Many, many rough edges both in the content and the app. Edit out time critical content (news, weather). You can do this easily. Don't start streaming news with an advert. That really sucks. Put a close button on every interface. I cannot abide an app that cannot be closed. But keep up the good work - vital public service, especially for the diaspora (I live overseas). GRMA.

RTE has some very good programmes but don't expect to find them on this app. It is all over the place. If there is a schedule they keep it well hidden. There is no order to the app..just photos highlighting certain programmes. On a related note if you go to look for an old programme...say 1 year old.. you have to go to the main site..they are no longer dated..just endless lists you must wade into. Seriously, for an organisation involved in communication ..it is a disaster across the board.
