A good idea but how do you connect the Defense Alert Device to a cell phone?

I own the device and have the app and I live alone in a big city and the combination of the app, the alerts and the device are by far the best form of protection that I could possibly imagine. I know of people who have been saved from an attack by this device. I hope I never have to use it but I feel incredibly safe with it in my hand.

I was interested in the app and it's possibility of saving lives. I decided to not finish the install because of their eula.... it is insanely long and gives them ownership over casual conversations. in rebellion of that I uninstalled the app
