• Self-reversal for sending money to Tigo
Access to your finances anytime, anywhere
• Send money across boarders easily, to Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, CONGO etc.
• Include withdrawal fees in your transfers to make it more convenient for your recipients when withdrawing cash recipient
• Transact with ease, by simply selecting your contact on any network from your phone book, favourites or recent recipients
• Transfer money from M-Pesa to your bank account or from your bank back to M-Pesa
Pay easily
• Make Government Payments, Pay Merchants and Withdraw Cash at Agents using QR codes
Use it offline for free
If you don’t have access to an internet connection (Wi-fi or data), you can still transact with no extra costs. M-Pesa App works offline, for free! You only have to give SMS permissions
It’s secure
You can use FINGERPRINT or FACIAL ID to log in, or authorise your transactions through M-Pesa app. The M-Pesa 4 digit PIN can as well be used!
This is the only official and authorised App for accessing your M-Pesa account in Tanzania (GSMA Mobile Money certified). Vodacom Tanzania cautions customers against downloading or attempting to use of any other App that purports to offer easy access to M-Pesa.

Great App, it helps alot conducting M-pesa Transactions. But recently there is a bug, were whrn you want to send money the recepient network is not detected but also transaction details does not show up i.e transactions fee etc. It keeps saying RECEPIENT NETWORK NOT DETECTED either enter manually or try again and even if you do either it does not work. Please fix that

A very useful app but in two days I have had transaction problems in two different scenarios. The first one being a withdrawal but to my suprise the money was withdrawn to another agent's number. In second scenario, I was paying to my own LIPA number but the money was paid to the number I don't know. I was refunded but I don't think it is safe to use the app.

Hello, very sorry for the mpesa app problem. Mpesa app is a secure service. We kindly ask that if you make a transaction, verify detail of the recipient of the money before entering the secret number of the mpesa. Very disappointing that for the past 3 weeks, I have been trying to transfer money outside. The app keeps on failing to finish the process, and to-wit, that's the only service that pushed me on Voda. I gave it 2 stars because it's unpredictable.
