"I really like this unit! I had trouble connecting but received great help from Tech Support. I have Nord VPN on my phone and it was blocking the signal from my Walabot. I used an old phone and it connected immediately. I just keep the old phone with the Walabot in it's case and I'm ready to go in less than a minute. It requires nothing but a smart phone with working wifi reception which means you can use it anywhere, no outside power source needed. I give it five stars!"

It is extremely useful, easy to use, and just works, unlike most DIY stuff today. If you are not using Wallabot, all I can say is you are choosing to work too hard at finding studs/wires. Able to see locate critters in your walls is a plus, funny, but a plus! Wallabot, get it, use it, support it, and help to encourage good DIY products like these.

Companion app for the Walabot system. Setup is very straightforward and connecting with the Walabot hardware is very easy. While running, hardware and app very consistently find materials in walls. I haven't had the opportunity to try critter detection yet though. Only thing I long for is stored calibrations so I'm not reconfiguring each time the app goes to sleep. As of this posting, walabot and app struggle to detect size of pipes, wires, and ducts; use that feature carefully.
