However, unintentionally parents may commit common mistake of forgetting their baby in the car seat or they go away bit far while indulged in some activities like shopping, jogging or while a walk in the garden.

Number of children gets affected due to heatstroke when being left in hot cars every year. We want to help parents avoid this common mistake of forgetting babies in the back seat of car or baby strollers. This app functions in a very simple manner. Neither it requires any login nor does it require any internet to operate.

All you need to do is download this app, order beacons from Estimote.com, place the beacons in the baby car seat or stroller and configure this beacon in this application. App also allows you to add multiple beacons considering the fact that there may be parents with more than one child. Major and Minor of the beacons are required for the configuration. You can set desired name of this beacon and most importantly you can set alert message that you would like to receive as a reminder that your child is left behind.

Functionality:

This app only functions if the bluetooth of your mobile device is turned on. The estimote beacons sends tiny bluetooth signal and interacts with your mobile device. When you exit from the range of this beacon, it will trigger the alert message which you have set while configuring the beacon. The moment you come in beacon’s entry region (i.e back to your child) you won’t get the alert. You are also given an option to set the snooze as per your requirement.

Overall, this app is just a facility to help parents. It can never be a replacement of your personal care for your child.
