The location feature is pretty bad. First off- it should know where I am based on gps. Second, trying to manually select an accurate location on a cell phone app by trying to tap on a 1" x 1/2" bitmap that represents over 8700 square miles?

Ed -- Thanks for the feedback. Maybe GPS will work in the next version. But entering a more precise location probably will make little difference in the species that you see. I can't get the data that would allow the app to know what plants are growing in your front yard. But I'm always working on improvements.
