Love this app! So useful and very user-friendly. I use it all the time. A few requests: 1) It would be incredibly helpful if i can edit plant lists, because I prefer to list my findings by other criteria than date: eg location! And sometimes it takes me a few days to identify all the plants from one hike. 2) I'd like to be able to mark plants as "maybe" seen. 3) ability to sort search results alphabetically would be nice too.

Nana -- Some of what you ask for has been put in the Apple version. Changing the program is such a big task I might never get these changes into the Android version. You can move your plant lists to your computer and then use the PlantLists.org program to edit them. The website is so much better than an app for dealing with plant lists.

The best plant ID app I've ever seen. One of my favorite and most used apps here in southern California. Makes it super easy to ID plants and save them to a list. Works offline, which is crucial because there's probably not cell service where you'll be finding many plants. I'm very glad to see that there's a version of the app for other regions and states!

Thank you for the review. I wish that I could update the app but changes in the Android operating system make it impossible. I have been able to update the Apple version so if you have an Apple device you might try that.

This app is a great resource for plant identification, especially when offline. Warning, big download, because offline database. Lots of content overlaps with other states' apps, which is to be expected. You might want a bigger screen if you're interested in some of the things, like the maps. Happy plant-sight-seeing, fellows!
