I am a plant ecologist and teach courses in plant identification this is an excellent app that covers the majority of the 2600+ plants in WI. I find this app very handy in the field if I need to look up a scientific name or look up a description of a plant. The multi entry key is also very useful for trying to narrow down what an unknown plant might be. The app also has useful information on the distribution and seasonal penology of species. This app is probably most useful to people who have at least some background in plant id, and not as useful to someone who is a complete beginner. My only criticism of the app is that some species don't have description and/ or have very limited photos, but considering this is a free app and covers so many species its understandable. I highly recommend this app!
