The issue with the streaming stopping seems to be related to Android OS. Switched from an iPhone 7 to a Samsung Note9, and started having the problems. Running the stream in a browser seems to be a viable work around, but I'd like to be supporting these guys by using the app. Hopefully the developer will recognize this request, and make it happen.

New update crashes every time I try to open it. I've reinstalled it three
times and restarted my phone. I used to listen to the app twice a day. Now
I can't.
