Waynote : roadtrip audio

Launch Waynote, put your phone down, look at the landscapes, listen.
Along the highways and the prettiest small roads, audio messages appear to tell the landscapes throughout your journey and suggest places to discover nearby.

On the way, find the essential places offered by our partners: the monuments of the Center des Monuments Nationaux, the contemporary art centers and the current exhibition with the National Center for Plastic Arts, and the emblematic industrial heritage of EDF, easy to find. locate on the map with the corresponding filters (Center for National Monuments, Contemporary Creation and Industrial Heritage).

New for summer 2021. Discover the natural, cultural and industrial heritage of the Aspe Valley in the wild and unspoiled Béarn Pyrenees, by going up the National 134 from Oloron Sainte-Marie to the Somport tunnel: its rich industrial past, exploitation of masts, Trans-Pyrenean railway and engineering structures, hydroelectricity, renewable energy more active than ever; its landscapes and its exceptional natural treasures.

Notes:
- No personal data is collected.
- Your consent is requested when the application is opened so that the application can access the geolocation of your device while it is in use, in the background if the phone is on standby, without storing it, to trigger messages contextual audio. If you decline, the audio accompaniment for your trip cannot be activated. However, you will have access to the map and the POI lists by moving manually on the map, but not to the anecdotes on your journey.
- Like all navigation-related applications, continued use of GPS running in the background can significantly reduce your battery life.
- The Waynote app works even if you lose the network while traveling.

Features:
- receive in audio, automatically triggered, short information on the territories crossed (villages, relief, heritage, history, brown tourist information panels, anecdotes, etc.)
- locate these audio messages by zooming in on the map: small blue pictograms on highways, green on secondary roads, drawn in green on the map. These messages can only be read and listened to while en route.
- consult the map of points of interest throughout France. View these points of interest displayed on the map as a list.
- also consult the list of nearby points of interest, depending on your location.
- from the detailed presentation sheet of the point of interest:
• call an establishment directly to book a visit or a meal
• consult additional information on the website of the suggested places
• let yourself be guided to the chosen break by switching to your favorite navigation application
• listen to a podcast or access a press article or video
- provide us with anecdotes and ideas for sites to discover from the app. And from the app menu, give us suggestions for how to improve it.
