About this game

Ironclad Tactics is a fast-paced, card-based tactics game set in an alternate history Civil War – with steam-powered military robots!

• No ridiculous in-app purchases! Unlock cards by playing the game, not by purchasing them separately.
• Experience unique gameplay, blending the precision of tactics and card games with the spontaneity of a fast-paced strategy game.
• Follow the campaign story through a fully-illustrated interactive graphic novel.
• Collect cards as you play through the campaign and build your own decks to crush your foes.

SCREEN SIZE NOTICE: This game was designed for tablets. Although it may run on your phone, it will probably be too small to play!

TRANSPARENCY NOTICE: Ironclad Tactics is not "free to play"; instead, the first six missions of the main campaign are available for free, after which the rest can be unlocked for around $4. After unlocking the main campaign, you'll be able to unlock all of its missions, cards, and stories without any additional in-app purchases. Two bonus add-on campaigns are also available for around $3 each. On the PC this game costs $15, with the add-on campaigns costing $5 each, which makes the Android version a bit of a discount from the normal PC price.

Although it's clear in the description the game is designed for tablets, it would be nice if fonts and other interface element were a bit bigger so the game could be more easily played. I also own Baldur's Gate, and those devs included a control panel to increase font size, making the game much more playable. Otherwise, the game is fun, so I'll give it four stars for now. I'll upgrade to five stars if the devs make legibility mods--although they're under no obligation to do so--clearly stated in the description. Galaxy Note 3

It has great potential. But when the enemy can field 2 to 3 times as many units as you can and their iron clads all have pre equipped weaponry it only makes it frustrating not a challenge. My iron clads cannot do anything they have no weapons and the ap is way to slow to defend against an already equipped army. Its bs our iron clads should at least have a basic freaking attack otherwise its useless. I got one expansion hoping I could unlock something to help but what I have is useless. You need a card store

I know this is probably my fault rather than theirs, but this game seems impossible to progress in, I just got thrashed in the early levels! If there were some sort of difficulty setting, it'd get 4 or five easily. :-)
