About this app

The Eerebegraafplaats Bloemendaal is the monument to the Dutch resistance fighters killed during the Second World War. There are 372 members of the resistance, 371 men and one woman, Hannie Schaft. This app provides information about this particular monument.

Of all the resistance fighters who are a concise biography included with background information about their person, resistance activities, arrest and murder.

Several points of interest are using authentic photos and film clips illustrated as the history of the cemetery, the design and key components such as the urn, the auditorium and the plaques.

The app includes two hiking trails through the National Park South Kennemerland along with five memorial services stones indicated where resistance fighters were executed.
