Most information available in English is focused on marketing sachets and tins. Tea Journey shifts the conversation from tins to terroir and from packets to people with stories about exceptional artisans and extraordinary tea gardens. A third of the content originates with respected Chinese-language publications like Cha Dao Life and Pu-erh Magazine as well as Korean, Japanese and Hindu tea titles.

Tea Journey is formatted for print, but out of respect for the world’s forests it is distributed as a digital publication. The mobile magazine includes sections with tasting notes to develop your tea expertise, interviews with tea growers and tea masters, and profiles of artisans in teacraft and teaware. There are profiles of collectors, scientists, antiquities scholars and tea blenders. Targeting established tea lovers, thirsty for a deeper connection to culture and origin, each issue helps readers discover and refine their taste in tea – helping them select, correctly prepare, and serve the finest teas from around the world.

Sections include Health & Wellness and Teaware & Antiquities and Tea Cuisine. Regular features include Tea Quest, tales of travel and adventure, the Puer Pages and a series on Tea & Tech that includes reports on modern tea brewers, tea apps and gadgets.

Three billion people drink tea daily both for its pleasant taste and the wakefulness it brings. Tea is proven to enhance the well-being of those who drink several cups a day. This is why consumption globally increased 60% between 1993 and 2010. The greatest benefit accrues to those who drink several cups a day. Discovering a favorite tea increases the frequency of consumption which becomes a daily ritual and, in time, a healthy life-long habit.

its very temperamental in terms of navigating through articles. Accidentally swiping to another artivle happens quite a bit aswell. i wish there was a way for me to develop a que (read later list) and if there was a way of archiving what ive already read (a section of favorites articles incase i want to go back and read them again and/or kjowinf what articles ive already read). im a big fan of the accessibility in changing font sizes and love the content.

Got one mesely article for one month of subscription. I paid for one month of subscription to test out the magazine and all I managed to get for my money was one freaking article! Now says subscription has expired, after five minutes of use. What a pile of garbage!

I can't see enough of the content to tell what this app is trying to be. Most links don't work. The one article that did looked like it was a description of tea for sale, but I couldn't see where they wanted me to buy anything. Confusing waste of time. Awful.
