This series of reading exercises follows the reading method Safe Learning to Read from Zwijsen publishers (a widely used reading method in Belgium and the Netherlands). This exercise can be done after knowing all the letters. There are 8 sets of 20 mkm words and 2 sets of 20 mmkm words (200 words together). They are always interchangeable words in which only 1 letter is exchanged for another (sometimes the 2 starting sounds with mmkm words). All exercises are supported auditory by fully pronounced words and, in case of error, by words pronounced with separate sounds. Choose your series and then click on start. Read the word and click on the appropriate picture. Then click on '->>' etc… . Students of 1st grade/group 3 see the sounds 'aa,au,ee,eu,ie,ij,oo,oe,ou,uu,ui' as 1 letter!!! I made these exercises based on my 25 years of experience as a 1st grade teacher. Headphones make the sound even better. Works best on tablets. Not so suitable for smartphones.
