This series of dictation & letter exercises follow the reading method Safe Learning to Read from Zwijsen publishers (a widely used reading method in Belgium and the Netherlands). These 18 series can be made from AVI level 3. This is a more or less free word maker. Try to form words with the given letters. The 3 boxes must be filled in. Then click on check. The words are supported auditory and usually also visually. Inappropriate words and abbreviations are not used. "2X" means that the word has already been used. Restarting a word is done with 'reset'. Leaving the series is done by double clicking on 'menu'. If you manage to form at least 5 words in a series, you get a puzzle as a bonus. Series can be restarted afterwards. Students of 1st grade/group 3 see the sounds 'aa, au, ee, eu, ie, ij, oo, oe, ou, uu, ui' as 1 letter!!! I made these exercises based on my 25 years of experience as a 1st grade teacher. Headphones make the sound even better. Works best on tablets. Not so suitable for smartphones.
