About this app

It is not advisable to uninstall this after KingRoot removal, because this fights for root in case KingRoot tries to reinsert itself again after a reboot, etc..

If you do NOT see SuperSU after the process is complete, go to the Playstore and install it and then open it. Also, turn OFF KingRoot Auto Update after you are rooted and prior to running this.

Leave me a review if you would as well. (If it says your device is write-protected, that is not the apps fault, do not leave a bad review for something that is due to your device..)

** Major Update - Have finally defeated their KingRoot 5.x protection mechanisms !! **

--> Kingroot 5.x has a silent install option in it's settings, under Advanced make sure that is disabled !! Once in there look on the top right for the three dots and tap that and choose disable <--

If you are running an older version of KingRoot, prior to 4.1, you need to upgrade it prior to running this for best results.

Guys, please leave a review so I can get a feeling of how the program is working.. If I ask you to email me and you do not, don't complain about it not working for you. I will work with you to resolve the issue.

** Android 5.x - 8.x users, you will get several kingroot pop-up boxes, just keep closing them and then go back to Super-Sume Pro, unless Super-Sume Prep is still listed, then run that again and make sure it is getting SuperSU access. You also might be able to tell SuperSU to go ahead and update the binaries and then run through the process starting with the Prep utility and let it continue from there and continue running it, it will work. After it is done running and the SuperSU binary is updated, reboot your device to finish clearing the cache and removing any remaining KingRoot icons. It will be fine.. **

Look at what's going on between us and other countries right now and you tell me if other countries do not want root access to your devices..

After installing KingRoot and rooting with it. Please reboot your device and verify you still have root, before running Super-Sume Pro. During Super-Sume's process, if Kingroot keeps popping up at any time asking for root access, please do not allow access back to it.

Sony Xperia Z3 users, if you find that after you run the app after rooting with KingRoot upon a reboot, that your system loops on the home screen crashing, you need to boot into recovery, factory reset and then when the phone comes up, you go to the PlayStore and install SuperSU and you should find that you are completely rooted with SuperSU and no signs of KingRoot exist.

So unfortunately the rooting methods available to most Android users has diminished over time. Fortunately there are some good rooting programs available though. One of these is Kingroot. While it is good at doing what it is intended to do, we do not know for sure all of the information it is collecting and sending to China. So with all of that said, this program will remove all of the Kingroot applications and associated binaries and install SuperSU and allow you to update the su binary, etc..

Also, please do not rate this low without giving me the opportunity to respond to you in an email first.

If you do not know what rooting is, this tool is not for you. I take no responsibility for the state your device might be left in by trying to remove KingRoot, they will try and fight to keep themselves implanted on your device.

Worked like a champ against KingRoot 5.3.7 (noarch) (Android 2.3+). I powered through all the system warnings that 'Kingo root had stopped working' and proceeded with running Super-Sume. After a couple reboots, lots of warnings, and restarting the Super-Sume app twice, it was finished. BAM! Rooted, Kingroot is gone, and no more warnings from Android 4.4.2 ! Now runs smoothly with no issues on Samsung SCH-I545 Verizon. Worth the money. Thank you:)

Lots of 4 stars - but didn't work for me and my Verizon Ellipsis 8. I should have done a better job of due diligence. After I had a problem I searched the web for solutions and found many people with the same issue after using this program. Kingroot did root my Ellipsis and Super-Sume Pro did remove KingRoot. At the end of the process it asks to update binaries … that is where my problems started. Others have experienced similar issues. I now have to take my tablet back to Verizon to see if they will reload the base OEM ROM. Hopefully I will be back where I started and look for a different solution.

Worked awesome, used it on ZTE Speed n9130 to replace Kingroot 5.3.8 (Before running Kingroot the secret sauce for old ZTE devices is to run adb command "adb shell reboot disemmcwp" to prep the system volume to not be protected as much so that Kingroot can persist) This is very cool that this works, because there is no recovery for that device (as it is an obscure 2014 ish $20 Walmart phone) so if this app did a bad job I'd have a brick. Very good work as I didn't want to keep Kingroot on there for too long as it seemed sketchy.
