About this app

1933 lived in Mannheim around 6,400 Jews. They owned stores and factories, small shops and craft, they were members of clubs, went to the theater and in the synagogue. This diversity of Jewish life was almost completely wiped out in the Third Reich. More than 2,200 Mannheimer Jews were murdered in the Nazi extermination camps.
