Yakari, Little Badger and rainbow, with their ponies on the road, when suddenly two Iroquois and claim Big Grey, the Pony of Rainbow, the Indian girl is theirs. This of course is not true. It was Yakari's horse Little Thunder, who brought the injured to the Sioux Pony some time ago. There, Great Gray was nursed back to health and has remained with the tribe. But the two Iroquois are determined to bring Big Grey se. For Yakari and his friends a dangerous situation, because they are too far away from their tribe in order to ride home quickly can.
