Unnecessary, it's just another browser but for the store itself. It's only useful for the 20% discount, but after that it's noticeable how it's just a disguised browser instead of an app itself, so I uninstalled it. Please hire an actual UI/UX designer for this, there's no reason to use an app if it shows no difference compared to a browser. If anything, it's even worse: a browser has extensions to make navigation more comfortable. If you want good results you need to hire good professionals.

A great app overall! Generally easy to navigate and very quick loading with a "favourites" function. I'd like to see an option to exclude certain items in searches - for example, I'm not interested in merch with logos or characters on, so it would be great not to have to scroll past these in the first place. But, otherwise excellent!

EMP are a great shop but the app is just plain bad, slow and buggy. Main issue is that it's awkward even to browse going back and forth. Let's say you're browsing items and you click on one to look further into it, when you go back, it's completely random where you'll be sent back to. You can counter this by clicking on the little basket icon, but if you then accidentally refresh the page (easily done) it'll reset the search entirely. The app also has a small chance of deleting orders!
