Citizens report defects and suggestions

AEM, the graphic suggestion and event management from Softplan Informatik GmbH, is an interactive complaint and suggestion management software for public administrations and companies. Citizens and employees can actively participate in improving the public infrastructure by pointing out deficiencies such as road damage, defective park benches or illegal dumping or by communicating their own suggestions to the administration.

With this free app, you can now record and forward your defect reports and suggestions with a local reference anytime, anywhere - regardless of whether a street lamp is broken or the bike path is impassable.

How it works:
1. Start the app and create a new report. Confirm your current location or move the pin to another point.
2. From the ready-made message types, choose the one that best describes your concern and add a short description. Optionally, multiple photos can be uploaded.
3. Enter your contact details and submit your report.

The AEM software creates a PDF form with the report data and the map section, which you can forward to the responsible municipality (e.g.: info@gemeinde....de) by post or email.

If the responsible municipality already uses the AEM procedure, you will receive an additional service. Your request will then be automatically forwarded by the AEM to your municipality and the responsible clerk will be informed directly. You will then automatically receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your message and will be informed in future about the current processing status of your message. The processing status is also displayed in color on the map:


Blue symbol: The report has been submitted and has not yet been processed by the responsible municipality.
Red symbol: The report was recorded by the municipality and forwarded to the responsible employee for processing.
Yellow icon: The message is being processed.
Green notification: The notification has been processed and completed by the responsible municipality.

Important NOTE:
The AEM APP is not suitable for reporting emergencies! Please report emergencies directly via the local emergency number!
